pure beeswax + beechwood wick

Engraved Artwork

We partner with local artists to create unique engravings on our beeswax candle jars. Each piece of artwork is made by humans, for humans. The graphics are laser engraved on heat resistant glass. No stickers or adhesives are used, allowing the flame to safely shine bright. We create only 100 candles for each piece of artwork.

Pure Beeswax

Pure beeswax burns cleaner and much slower than alternative waxes like paraffin or soy. Pure beeswax is naturally occurring. Which results in minimal processing, no chemicals, and the support of sustainable farming practices. Pure beeswax is a renewable energy source and is safe to burn around humans and animals.

Beechwood Wick

The beechwood wick allows for greater endurance than cotton or hemp. The result is a consistently bright burning candle that utilizes all of the wax. Our wicks are made of pure beechwood, we never use glue or addhesives. Beechwood is naturally aromatic, burns clean, and crackles like a campfire.

Clean Burning

Many candle makers mix in different waxes, then label the candle as beeswax. When burned, those wax blends can release toxic compounds into the air. It must be "pure beeswax" to insure a non toxic burn. Pure beeswax candles can improve air quality. They can purify, dehumidify, deodorize, and deionize.

Naturally Aromatic

Scented candles often contain chemicals in their oils and dyes. When burned, they release toxic compounds into the air, which is absorbed by our bodies and our environment. We use pure yellow beeswax with no added fragrance. It has a naturally aromatic honey scent, while remaining completely hypo-allergenic.

Sustainable Life Cycle

Beeswax candles can be shelf stable at room temperature for thousands of years. We use glass jars with wooden lids to protect the wax from humidity and oxidation. Aluminum and tin jars can leach metals into beeswax over time and affect its color, scent, and texture. Our jars have the ability to be used repeatedly after the candle has been burned. Nothing needs to be thrown away.
